It's back down south this month to the bowels of Stockwell to sample all that Venezuela has to offer at Arepa!
Stockwell is a bit of a no man's land for cocktails so we'll jump on the bus/tube and head over to Clapham for cocktails!
It's also spooky season, so get those creepy books, cosy scarves, wooly jumpers and we'll see you there!
See you at brunch!
PLEASE NOTE: This is an all day event starting with our online book discussion at 10am followed by brunch in the afternoon. To ensure you have all details please sign up to our mailing list where you'll receive a full itinerary, discussion questions, Zoom link and much more.

At the heart of Stockwell and right in the middle of 'Little Portugal' you will find our newest restaurant. A modern, friendly and bright space full of skylights and serving delicious arepas and Venezuelan food.
We are open every day of the week for our delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner and our prominent bar features an exciting menu of cocktails and Venezuelan rum. We also have a couple of tables outside for the sunny days. Our menu is mostly gluten-free with a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options. Closest tube stations: Stockwell, Nine Elms or Vauxhall.
Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey
Just Like Home is a darkly gothic thriller from nationally bestselling author Sarah Gailey, perfect for fans of Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House.
Going home is always hard.
For Vera, going home means returning to the notorious Crowder House where her serial killer father murdered his victims and buried their bodies beneath.
Then notes start to appear in Vera's father's handwriting - but they can't be from him. He has been dead for years.
Vera thought that the house had given up all its secrets but now she must uncover how deep the rot goes.
