We’re making our triumphant return this February, right on time for Galentine’s Day! 💖
Our book of the month is the captivating A Spell of Winter by Helen Dunmore and we’ll be brunching at one of Stormzy’s favourite watering holes, Cafe Koko in Camden! Once we’re suitably brunched we’ll shuffle on over to Simmons Mornington Crescent for some drinks and dancing.
See you at brunch! 🥂📚🥑
PLEASE NOTE: This is an all day event starting with our online book discussion at 10:30am followed by brunch in the afternoon. To ensure you have all details please sign up to our mailing list where you'll receive a full itinerary, discussion questions, Online Discussion link and much more.
Cafe KOKO
Every Saturday from 12pm - 5pm, the On & On Bottomless Brunch (named after the Erykah Badu song, On & On) will provide a feast of must-try brunch classics and unlimited, thirst-quenching drinks set to an exuberant soundtrack of DJs playing ‘90s R&B and hip hop favourites (think TLC, Biggy, Tu Pac, Destiny’s Child, Boyz II Men and Blackstreet).
The two-course set menu offers a main course and a side to satisfy a wide-range of tastes and dietary requirements. Tantalising mains include a salt beef bagel; a smoked salmon bagel; decadent stacked pancakes, the plant-based Delica squash and golden beetroot; and Sicilian baked eggs.
The menu is completed by a selection of Cafe KOKO’s increasingly renowned pizzas: the vegetarian El Classico; the creative toppings of The Hope and Anchor; and the meat-and-spice indulgence of the Downtown Jimmy Brown.
Meanwhile, visitors can choose from one of three unlimited drink options: the house Bloody Mary and classic Mimosa cocktail, or Prosecco.

Cathy and her brother, Rob, don't know why they have been abandoned by their parents. Alone in their grandfather's decaying country house, they roam the wild grounds freely with minds attuned to the rural wilderness. Lost in their own private world, they seek and find new lines to cross.
But as the First World War draws closer, crimes both big and small threaten the delicate refuge they have built. Cathy will do anything to protect their dark Eden from anyone, or anything, that threatens to destroy it.
